In conversation with George Bizos

Agora Dialogue has the honour of counting George Bizos, one of the most inspirational figures of our time, as one of its patrons. In 2016 we had the immense pleasure of hosting him in conversation with Jennifer Webb and Dinos Toumazos. Having fled his native Greece as a child refugee during WW2, George Bizos settled in South Africa. A committed anti-apartheid activist, he was a member of the legal team that represented Nelson Mandela, who became a life-long friend. George Bizos was one of the founding fathers of the South African Constitution and still remains a tireless defender of human rights at home and abroad.
