Qantas to resume flights as court orders end to dispute

Qantas will resume flights on Monday after an independent tribunal ordered a permanent end to the industrial dispute with its union members Qantas and union members had been involved in a dispute over a restructuring plan for the airline Qantas chief executive Alan Joyce said the airline will resume flights by mid-afternoon on a limited schedule. Turkey has decided to not form parliamentary friendship groups with five countries, including Israel and Syria, in the newly commenced parliamentary session, while preparing to form friendship groups with 18 new countries (Photo: Today’s Zaman) During the previous session of Parliament, the 23rd session, there were friendship groups with parliamentarians from 110 countries, including Israel and Syria. Israeli anger over Palestine’s UNESCO membership Israel refused on Monday to accept UNESCO’s decision to grant full membership to the Palestinian National Autonomy (PNA) and threatened retaliatory measures. The Israeli Foreign Ministry called Palestinian accession to the UNESCO “a unilateral maneuver” that would threaten Arab-Israeli peace talks.
